Impulso Teatro, a Cuban theater group made up mostly of young graduates of the Faculty of Theater Art, of the University of the Arts, received last Thursday the First Prize of the jury of the spectators in the XIII Edition of the Il Teatro Nudo di Teresa Pomodoro International Award .
The event is sponsored by the association Spazio Teatro No’hmathe Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in addition to the Milan City Council.
The Cuban group participated with Poor BB’s Ballada work about the conflicts caused by power, material wealth, selfishness and war.
Every year the Il Teatro Nudo International Award brings together prestigious performing groups from around the world, with the aim of contributing to spiritual growth and exchange with all kinds of audiences
The Impulso Teatro members dedicated the award to the memory of actor and playwright Alexis Díaz de Villegas, who died in June of this year.
