Cuban regime accuses the US of “state terrorism” for attacks in Venezuela

Nicolás Maduro y Miguel Díaz-Canel

Havana aligns itself with Caracas and condemns the United States.

MIAMI, United States. – The Cuban ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla reacted this Saturday on the social network

Diaz-Canel wrote: “Cuba denounces and demands URGENT reaction from the international community against the criminal attack by the US on Venezuela. Our zone of peace is being brutally attacked. State terrorism against the brave Venezuelan people and against Our America. Homeland or Death, We will win!”

Shortly after, Rodríguez Parrilla stated: “We strongly condemn the ongoing US military aggression against Venezuela. The bombings and war actions against Caracas and other locations in the country are cowardly acts against a nation that has not attacked the US or any other country.”

This morning, Caracas woke up to the loud sound of explosions that the Venezuelan regime described as part of a “very serious military aggression” by the United States.

In addition to Díaz-Canel and Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuban Vice Foreign Minister Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios held in X that “the cowardly aggression against Venezuela is an attack against all of Latin America and the Caribbean, which is and must continue to be a zone of peace,” and called for “urgent mobilization” internationally.

Along the same lines, Johana Tablada de la Torre, ambassador of the Foreign Service of the Cuban regime, expressed his support in X to Díaz-Canel’s brief statement and described the attack as a “murderous and gratuitous blow by the United States against sister Venezuela.” “A cowardly attack that responds to the most reactionary and rude objectives of looting and domination of our America,” he added.
