The Cuban activist Jacqueline Heredia Moralesa member of the Ladies in White, was released on December 27, 2024 after serving her sentence in the Cuba-Panama prison, located in Mayabeque, intended for inmates with HIV.

Heredia Morales confirmed his release through social networks, where he expressed: “I am asking for the freedom of each and every one of the political prisoners. In June 2023, Heredia Morales and her husband, opposition member Carlos Alberto Álvarez, were arrested at their home in Havana after a dispute with neighbors.
