Cuban Olympic champion Arlen López gets his second victory in professional boxing

Cuban double Olympic champion Arlen López won his second victory this Saturday in the professional boxing with a forceful demonstration before the local Francisco Ríos on a billboard held in Tijuana, Mexicoaccording to official media on the island.

The success of the Tokyo 2020 monarch is the 13th that since then the fighters have filed in this type of boxing under the protection of the island’s federation, which signed a representation agreement with the Mexican company Golden Ring to manage their fights. .

Since then, the main Cuban figures have paraded through professional boxing rings in several countries, including the Olympic and world champions. Julius Caesar the Cross and Roniel Iglesias, the world monarchs Lázaro Álvarez and Yoenlis Hernández, and others on the rise such as Billy Rodríguez.

The latter recently debuted on a card held in Mexico. After achieving the victory without setbacks, he decided not to return to the Island to settle in the United States, where he later arrived with the purpose of relaunching his career.

According to recently announced the Golden Ring company and the Cuban Boxing Federation (FCB), the next professional fight of a fighter from the Domadores de Cuba franchise will star Roniel (147 pounds) on a billboard set for next September 30 in the Mexican city of Puerto Vallarta, against a rival yet to be defined.

The promoters also announced that options for Álvarez’s lawsuit (135 pounds) are being handled on October 7 in the Mexican city of Hermosillo, while La Cruz (200 pounds), Osvel Caballero (130) and Arlen himself would be involved in a cartel scheduled for October 28.
