The Cuban government regretted the deaths and material losses caused by the multiple tornadoes that have affected the midwestern and southern United States in recent days.
“We regret the loss of human life and the destruction caused by a storm system that generated dissimilar tornadoes in more than a dozen states in the US,” the island’s foreign minister, Bruno Rodríguez, wrote on Twitter.
In his message, the Cuban Foreign Minister also expressed his “condolences to the relatives of the victims” and wished a “speedy recovery to the victims.”

According to press reports, the tornadoes have left at least thirty fatalities, as well as thousands of homes destroyed and tens of thousands of homes without electricity.
