The foreign minister considered from Twitter that the Israeli actions are carried out “in clear violation of international law and endangering stability in the Middle East region.”

“I ratify our support and solidarity with the Syrian government and people,” stressed the Cuban head on that social network.

According to an agency report Latin Press (PL), several Syrian media, including the national agency SANA and al-Suriya television, highlighted Rodríguez Parilla’s conviction from the island.

Israel launched several missiles against the Damascus International Airport and an area in the south of the capital on Saturday, leaving at least five soldiers dead, a military source reported to the Syrian state agency SANA quoted by Eph.

The NGO Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that this is the twenty-fifth Israeli attack so far this year against Syrian territory.

Israel regularly launches this type of action against the neighboring country, where it considers the presence of pro-Iranian and Lebanese armed groups allied with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to be a threat to its security.
