Madrid Spain.- The youtuber Alain Lambert Sánchez, known as Paparazzi Cubano, recently arrived in the United States, accompanied by his family.
“Officially, we are in the United States. We thank this great country for welcoming us”, wrote the influencer himself this Monday in Facebookplatform where he has more than 74,000 followers.
In the same publication, Alain Paparazzi announced that he would be at 5:00 p.m. this Tuesday at the iconic Versailles bar-restaurant in Miami, a meeting place for Cubans in this city.
Alain also shared a family photo showing his wife, his young daughter, his brother, who is carrying a United States flag, and him, with a Cuban flag.
“Welcome to the land of freedom. Now no one can silence your voice”, “Congratulations”, “Much success”, Welcome Alain and family”; These are some of the more than 1,600 comments that the publication already has.
In December 2020, Alain Paparazzi left Cuba for Panama, a country where he submitted his request for political asylum in August 2021.
At that time, he announced that the Panamanian government demanded that he stop denouncing the Cuban regime for six months, as a condition for granting him asylum. Since then, the youtuber limited himself to making written complaints, but he did not broadcast live again through his digital platforms.
A month before leaving the island, Cuban police agents had prevented him from leaving his house, and kept him fenced in for exposing the situation in the country.
The harassment of State Security had also been increasing and, as he had been warned, they closed his program.
