Carlos Treto, a Cuban theater, television, film and radio actor, died at the age of 70 on Saturday night, according to Cuban institutions and artists lamented on social networks.
The Directorate of Culture of the Havana municipality of Plaza remember that he worked as an actor for the Hubert de Blanck Theater Company and that his most recent performance was in the play “The Witches of Salem.” He also worked with the Vital Teatro company.

He is remembered in the television children’s space word soupin the humorous Live the story and in the soap opera Pending issueswhich is broadcast by Cubavisión on Cuban television.
Treto worked as coordinator of the Caricato Award and presided over the section of actors of the Association of Performing Artists of the UNEAC, whose president made reference to his death, from Twitter.
In the last two years Carlos Treto had joined the anti-racist activism from the Aponte Commission and the Cuban Color program, points out the Havana institution.

He worked in workshops and short films at the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños. She was part of the film cast Operation Fangio.
According to the National Council for the Performing Arts, the actor’s mortal remains are in the Playa funeral home, at calle 70 corner to 29. The burial was set for tomorrow at 9:40 am
