Mexico City, Mexico.- The Cuban baseball team would not be invited to the Caribbean series from 2024 to be held in Miami, Florida, according to what ESPN journalist Enrique Rojas published on his Twitter account.
Apparently the Antillean team was left out because the format of only six countries was resumed, and the two guest spots decided to grant them to Curaçao and Nicaragua.

The reporter specified that the countries that will be represented in the tournament are the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico and Puerto Rico (the four members of the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation and who pay membership), in addition to the other two invited nations.
