Cuba vs. Czech Republic in Volleyball Challenger Cup

Cuba’s men’s volleyball team will face the Czech Republic tonight in one of the semifinal matches of the Challenger Cup, which will end this Sunday in Seoul, South Korea.

According to the International Federation www.fivb.comthe Cubans will collide with the Czechs this Saturday, but due to the time difference between Cuba and South Korea (13 hours), the match should start at 11 pm today, Friday.

Cuba debuts with victory over Chile in World Volleyball Challenger

In the quarterfinals, Cuba defeated Chile 3-0 and the Czechs defeated Tunisia 3-1. In the other semifinal they will be rivaling South Korea and Turkey, who advanced with 3-2 and 3-1 wins against Australia and Qatar, respectively.

The winners will discuss the title and the only ticket to the League of Nations contest for this sport in 2023.

The losers will fight for third place.
