Cuba suffers against the Netherlands its third defeat in the U-23 Baseball World Cup

The Cuban team suffered on Monday its third consecutive loss in the World Cup under 23’s baseball based in Taiwanby losing with a score of 2-3 against his counterpart from the Netherlands, according to official media reports on the Island.

The decisive score came in the sixth inning from the legs of Tommy van de Sanden, thanks to a double steal (home and second) poorly defended by the Caribbean players, according to a report from the agency Latin Press (PL).

This defeat practically eliminates any possibility that the cast of the Island will advance to the Super Round by group B, since even winning the remaining two matches would not be enough for them to finish among the top three of the key, except for an unlikely tie with another campus values ​​PL.

After a unfortunate debut against Puerto Rico (0-5), and the duel with Australia was suspended due to rain, those led by Alain Álvarez had lost to the representation of South Korea (0-4)in a game decided in the last inning by a home run with the bases loaded for the Asian team.
