Cuba reports 413 new cases and maintains control of Covid-19

Cuba reported 413 positive cases of Covid-19 today, 54 less than the previous day, and four deaths associated with the pandemic, with which it maintained two months of control of the disease.

Since March 11, 2020, the country has registered 957,332 diagnosed as well as 8,274 fatalities, a fatality of 0.86 percent, specified a report released by the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) on its website.

Medical institutions granted 552 discharges and with that figure the Caribbean island accumulates 946 thousand 615 (98.9 percent) recovered patients.

Two thousand 386 people remain admitted, of which two thousand 316 with stable clinical evolution, while in intensive care 70 citizens are treated, 20 critics and 50 seriously ill, added the Minsap.

The provinces of Camaguey, Holguín and Sancti Spíritus, with 92, 84 and 55 cases, respectively, monopolize the attention of the authorities, when below 20 appear Cienfuegos and Guantánamo (18), Pinar del Río (17), Granma (11 ), Ciego de Ávila (10), Matanzas (nine), Artemisa (seven) and Mayabeque (four).

The Cuban Minister of Health, José Ángel Portal, urged the day before to multiply the responsibility in the new moment of the country with the resumption of many daily activities that had been stopped long ago.

Until November 9, in the region of the Americas, 95 million 531 thousand 615 confirmed cases with Covid-19 (110 thousand 51 more) are reported, 38 percent of the total confirmed in the world.
