Cuba rejects military actions in the United States

The Foreign Minister of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, rejected the statements of the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, about Venezuela. Rodríguez described as “disrespectful lies” the allegations of the gringo government to threaten Venezuela.

The Foreign Minister said, in a message on the social network X, that Rubio’s statements are intended to justify military actions in the Caribbean region.

The Cuban minister denounced yesterday that Washington “tries to repeat the old and well -known American strategy to create false pretexts” to intervene in regional matters.
The Cuban government has expressed its rejection vigorously against the naval and aerial deployment of the United States in the Caribbean Sea and described it as a dangerous act that threatens regional peace.

Recently, the president of the Caribbean island, Miguel Díaz-Canel, emphasized that Latin America and the Caribbean must continue to be an area free of nuclear and peace weapons, and urged the community of Latin American and Caribbean states (CELAC) to defend those achievements before the military deployment of the United States in the region.

The brotherhood relationship between Venezuela and Cuba is based on this shared struggle against imperialism. Both countries have been the target of aggressive policies and sanctions, which has strengthened their alliance in the defense of sovereignty and self -determination
