Juan Carlos García Granda, Minister of Tourism of Cuba (MINTUR), chaired the Cuban delegation that participates in the London International Tourism Fair WTM 2021, which is held from November 1 to 3.
Through its Twitter account, the Cuban Ministry of Tourism announced the Cuban participation in the event that constitutes the first major meeting of the travel industry to be held globally since the pandemic began.

In another publication, the ministry itself highlighted García Granda’s conversations with tour operators and airline companies present at the event.
“The Minister of Tourism of Cuba will exchange with the main representatives of tour operators and air lines of the market and will update on the news of tourism for the next summer and winter 2022 – 2023” he published.
The participating delegation is headed by its Minister Juan Carlos García Granda, as well as top-level executives of entities in the sector, who will update on the tourist potential of Havana, Matanzas, the northern keys of Villa Clara and Jardines del Rey. , Holguín and Santiago de Cuba, as the main regions of interest for the English market.
According to MINTUR, within the framework of the event, the island will launch the next edition of FITCUBA 2022, which will be in Varadero, Matanzas, and will be dedicated to Russia as the guest of honor and to the Sun and Beach modality.
The United Kingdom constitutes a market of great importance for Cuban tourism and currently the Caribbean nation is working to strengthen its position, as well as to diversify products designed for commercialization in the face of the new winter season.
