The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, assured today that 2021 has been a difficult year, however, Cuba is not alone.
In a message shared on his Twitter social network account, the Cuban Foreign Minister pointed out that in this year that is almost ending, support for the Greater Antilles, international solidarity and rejection of United States policy was redoubled.
Rodríguez Parrilla emphasized that 2021 represented tensions for Cuba due to the crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, he explained that there was evidence of an “additional tightening” of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba, as well as a greater number of destabilization operations aimed at damaging our internal process and citizen peace.

Although this year there has been a resurgence of the blockade in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, international solidarity has been present, and friends from Cuba have sent their support in the form of donations of medical supplies, food and other essential products.
Likewise, the cruel and genocidal policy imposed on Cuba has been denounced in various international settings, and its eradication has been advocated.
