Havana Cuba. — The problem that real socialism had was that it could not be reinvented. The Cuban regime did not believe one iota of Soviet history. For this reason, it was quickly recycled into 21st century socialism, sustained with the petrodollars of a Venezuelan military megalomaniac who is not worth remembering.
Today, Cuba is in crisis and hundreds of thousands of Cubans are fleeing the island jail, just like the East Germans and Poles did in the 1980s. And the regime has to reinvent itself to survive the current situation.
