Cuba condemns renewed US interference against Venezuela

The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, today condemned the renewed interference of the United States against Venezuela from the extension of the executive order that considers that territory a threat to security.

Through his official Twitter account, the president pointed out that with the expansion of that decree, Washington is looking for pretexts to justify coercive measures against the Bolivarian people.

With this, “peace in the region is attacked,” emphasized the head of state.

The day before, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez repudiated the decision to renew executive order 13962, of March 8, 2015, signed by then President Barack Obama, who considers Venezuela a threat to national security and foreign policy of the House. White.

The proclamation intensified the aggressions in order to cause the collapse of the country’s economy and stimulate a regime change in the South American nation.

According to the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, the country is facing the effects of more than 500 unilateral coercive measures as part of Washington’s hostile strategy.
