Cuba begins the collection day of signatures in support of Venezuela

The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel began yesterday at the day of collection of signatures in support of the country, under the motto: “It is urgent to prevent military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.”

In Havana, the solidarity day began in the Hermanos Ameijeiras hospital complex, with the presence of the Venezuelan ambassador to Cuba, Orlando Maneiro, as well as representatives of the Union of Young Communists.

The Venezuelan diplomat expressed his gratitude for the Cuban support, highlighting that “the unity between the two countries is key to face hostile policies promoted from Washington.”

The program contemplates points in work centers, universities and public spaces throughout the country, and will conclude with mass acts and cultural activities on this month.
