Cuba and Spain renew hotel agreement for Varadero

The Be Live hotel chains in Spain and Gran Caribe in Cuba signed a five-year contract extension agreement in two facilities in the Varadero resort.

In a simple ceremony at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Spain and with the legal supervision of the Consul General, Alaín Pérez, the president of Gran Caribe, Cristina León, and the directors of Be Live-Globalia, Francisco Javier Hernández and Francisco José Pérez signed the document.

With the presence of the Minister of Tourism of Cuba, Juan Carlos García Granda, who welcomed the agreement that includes the administration of Villa Cuba and Las Morlas de Varadero, he also had words of thanks from Francisco Javier Hernández on the Spanish side, satisfied for the continued commitment to the Caribbean island.

Hernández and Pérez valued the 15 years of collaboration and links with Gran Caribe, with the idea of ​​increasing them in the near future.

Cuba is part of the broad community of 107 countries that is taking part in the 42nd International Tourism Fair (Fitur) at IFEMA-Madrid, in what could be considered the starting signal for recovery and the new normality of the so-called industry without chimneys .
