Cuba and Belarus establish agreement to market medicines

Representatives of the Ministries of Public Health of Cuba and belarus They signed a memorandum this Monday in Minsk that will strengthen the ties between the two countries for the commercialization of medicines and expendable materials.

A report of the Prensa Latina agency expands that the document was signed by the first deputy minister of Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP)Tania Cruz, and by Seguei Kazakevich, general director of Belfarmprom, a Belarusian company that produces medicines.

The Cuban delegation also held a meeting on Monday with the President of the Senate of the Republic of Belarus, Natalia Kachanova, who confirmed the excellent relations between the two countries.

The newspaper reports that during the meeting the need to cooperate in strengthening its productive potential, in the biopharmaceutical area, and in the links between the ministries, especially in education and improvement of executives, was discussed.

As part of the program, the Cuban delegation visited the Belarusian Regulatory Agency, where the Sovereign 02 vaccine, one of the drugs designed by Cuban scientists against COVID-19, was registered for the first time in Europe.

At the same time, a seminar was held for angiologists and endocrinologists on the possibilities and faculties of the Cuban drug Heberprot-P for the cure of diabetic foot.

The Cuban delegation was also made up of the vice president of the Biocubafarma Business Group, Eulogio Pimentel, as well as specialists from the Molecular Immunology, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology centers, the Hayca company and the Finlay Vaccine Institute.
