The constant rains who have registered in the last days in four glens They have caused the loss of hundreds of hectares of crops in 13 communities, for which the local authorities declared a municipal emergency.
According to the report by Néstor Lovera, correspondent for EL DEBER, the plantations of soybeans, sorghum, corn, cassava, beans, pasture for cattle in the communities of Palmitas, 14 de Junio, Villa Primavera, Canáan, 4 de Marzo, San Roque and Villa Charqua, among others, were left under water.
Municipal authorities of Cuatro Cañadas indicate that, in the 2023 Annual Operating Budget, there is an amount of Bs 100 million to deal with this emergency due to rains.

The director of Searpi Basins, José Antonio Rivero, informed this Thursday that the The rains registered in the department of Santa Cruz have caused small floods in the upper and middle basins of the Piraí river, while in the lower basin, in the municipality of San Pedro, a large flood was registered.
