CTC and INDOCAL sign inter-institutional agreement to strengthen the quality of their processes

The Community Technology Centers (CTC) and the Dominican Institute for Quality (INDOCAL) signed an inter-institutional collaboration agreement with the objective of strengthening institutional management, promoting the implementation of certified management systems and promoting continuous improvement in the services offered to citizens.

The agreement was signed by the general director of the CTC, Isidro Torres, and the general director of INDOCAL, engineer Nestor Julio Matos Ureñawith the participation of Mrs. Elaine de Limalegal director of INDOCAL, and in the presence of the departmental managers of the CTC.

This agreement establishes a cooperation framework aimed at coordinating efforts for training, acquisition of technical standards and definition of critical routes for the certification of management systems under national and international standards.

As part of the agreement, the CTC will begin the process for implementation and certification under the NORDOM ISO 9001:2015 standard, focused on Quality Management Systems. This process will include training in interpretation of the standard, process documentation, definition of performance indicators, risk management, internal audit and treatment of non-conformities, among other fundamental aspects.

Likewise, the agreement contemplates the possibility of implementing the NORDOM ISO 37001:2016relating to the Anti-Bribery Management System, and ISO 37301:2021, on Compliance Management Systems, thus reinforcing the institutional commitment to transparency, ethics and regulatory compliance.

The director of Indocal, Nestor Matossaid that these certifications not only represent compliance with technical requirements, but also promote an organizational culture based on transparency, operational efficiency and the responsible use of public resources.

The signing of this agreement represents a significant advance in the institutional transformation of the CTCs, focused on excellence, transparency and certified quality of their processes and services.

The agreement will be valid for three years, automatically renewable, and establishes monitoring, confidentiality and technical coordination mechanisms between both institutions to guarantee compliance with the established objectives.

This signature represents a transcendental step in the process of modernization and institutional strengthening of the Community Technology Centers, consolidating their mission of promoting digital inclusion, training in technological skills and social development in vulnerable communities in the country.
