The recess of the meeting occurred after 5 hours of discussing the concerns of the laboratory technical assistants, at the CSS headquarters in Clayton
At 9:00 am tomorrow, Wednesday, April 13, the meeting will resume between the directors of the Social Security Fund (CSS) and the leaders of the clinical laboratory technical assistants, brought together in the National Association of Clinical Laboratory Assistants ( Analac), which was suspended this afternoon.
The recess of the meeting occurred after 5 hours of discussing the concerns of the laboratory technical assistants, at the CSS headquarters in Clayton.
This staff has been unemployed since last April 4 to demand compliance with salary requirements.
The secretary general of the CSS, Edwin Salamín, said that they have reached agreements, which is why they requested a recess to present the document to the general director of the entity, Enrique Lau Cortés, and to the head of the Ministry of Health, Ivette Berrío.
For his part, Luis Bonilla, president of Analac, assured that “the moment is propitious to take stock and see if the strike is lifted tomorrow,” however, he said that this measure cannot be lifted without having a firm document, so they hope that the counterproposal they receive tomorrow is favourable.
