CSS leaves dialogue table with ANFACSS lying

The authorities of the Ombudsman’s Office are concerned because the dialogue between the leadership of the Association of Administrative and Officials of the Social Security Fund (ANFACSS) and the CSS have been delayed, thanks to the absence of the entity’s representation .

According to Ombudsman Eduardo Leblanc González, as a mediator, the attitude taken by the CSS, represented by Secretary General Edwin Salamín, is dangerous and represents a risk because it delays the process whose purpose is to reach a consensus for the unemployment lifting.

Leblanc explained that the dialogue meetings were agreed to be held every Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the Training Center of the Administration Attorney’s Office, however today at 1:40 pm there was still no CSS representation, it is not until the ombudsman calls this institution that is informed that they would not attend the meeting.

He stressed that this is not the first time that there have been failures on the part of the entity because in a past approach they were late for the dialogue.

Despite the absence of officials from the Social Security Fund, the Ombudsman attended the leaders of ANFACSS to find out the current situation regarding the agreements and prioritize the lifting of the strike in order to guarantee the right to health of users of CSS services.
