CSA defeats Vasco 3-1 in Serie B

CSA defeated Vasco by 3-1, on Friday night (29) at the São Januário stadium, and took the 7th position in the B Series of the Brazilian Championship with 48 points. With the setback, Cruzmaltino was in 8th with a point less.CSA defeats Vasco 3-1 in Serie B

Azulão’s triumph was achieved thanks to goals from Renato Cajá and Dellatorre (twice). Argentine striker Cano scored the only goal for the Rio team.

CSA returns to the field for the competition, next Tuesday (2) in Barradão, against Vitória. Two days later Vasco visits Guarani.

Triumph at Germano Krüger

Avaí also triumphed this Friday, who beat Operário 2-1 at the Germano Krüger stadium. Paulo Sérgio and Alan scored for the Fantasma, while Copete scored for Leão da Ilha.

With the victory, Avaí was in 3rd place with 53 points, while Operário is 12th with 41 points.
