The movement of cruise ships in the country is still active; This Monday, February 13, with the arrival in Colón 2000 of the Norwegian Jewel Cruise, where the immigration units attended 5,920 tourists. To these more than 5,000 visitors is added the attention of last Saturday, February 11, when the National Service of Migration, (SNM), registered embarkation and disembarkation of 3 thousand 270 people in the Port of Cristóbal and Colón 2000; travelers enjoyed the attentions on the Eurodam and Le Bellot cruises.
Likewise, the National Geographic Quest arrived in Panamanian waters, specifically in Puerto Mutis on February 8, 2023, with 81 passengers and 48 crew members. At the same time, on February 7, movement was maintained at the Amador Cruise Terminal, with the arrival of the Norwegian Gem, where 1,047 crew members were attended by immigration inspectors, and the SNM also registered the arrival of a total of 1,553 passengers.
On the other hand, on February 6, at the Amador Terminal, the National Immigration Service continued with the attention, this time to a total of 3,541 people between crew members and passengers of the Emerald Princess.
As State security entity, the National Migration Service (SNM) registered the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and crew; as well as the number that participated in tours in each of the cases.
From February 6 to 13, tourists attended by immigration inspectors and supervisors on the various cruise ships totaled 15,460 people. With this movement of tourists, the Joint Task Force carries out actions with the purpose of expediting the movement of visitors.
