Environmental and political organizations questioned the initiative, pointing out that “it is not new” that it “reiterates a model of exploitation” started in the 1990s and that it will enable “illegal concessions.” They warn that reality is distorted and that “the few green spaces that are going to remain will be fragmented and functional for gastronomic and dance exploitation.”
