In addition to Massa, the Vice President held several meetings in her office.

Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner met this afternoon in her Senate office with Economy Minister Sergio Massa, with whom analyzed details of the 2023 budget project which this Thursday will formally enter the Chamber of Deputies.

This was confirmed by Massa when he left Congress, after passing through the lower house where the chief of staff, Juan Manzur, presented his management report.

In a brief exchange with the accredited press, the head of the Palacio de Hacienda confirmed that he had a meeting with the vice president, to whom he indicated details of the calculation of expenses and resources foreseen for the coming year.

“The two meetings were to talk about the budget,” said the official, referring to the meeting he had with Fernández de Kirchner and then with the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Cecilia Moreau, and with the head of the Frente de Todos bloc in the lower house, Germán Martínez.

Massa arrived in the country on Tuesday after his tour of the United States after holding meetings with the director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, and the head of the Treasury, Janet Yellen.

The vice president entered the upper house around noon and began an agenda of meetings in her office on the second floor of the Legislative Palace.

Parliamentary sources reported that the head of the FdT senators, José Mayans, participated in the meeting between Fernández de Kirchner and Massa, who then met with the governor of Formosa, Gildo Insfrán.
