the vice president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner received on Tuesday in his office at the Senate of the Nation members of organizations that defend human rights to discuss the preparations for the march on March 24when it will be 46 years since the last civic-military coup d’état, it was officially reported.
That walk will be the first after the pandemic of coronavirus, which prevented the 2020 and 2021 calls.
The meeting was attended by Taty Almeida, from Mothers of Plaza de Mayo Founding Line; Lita Boitano, from Relatives of the Disappeared and Detained for Political Reasons; Giselle Tepper and Carlos Pisoni, from HIJOS Capital; Paula Livatchky and Sol Hourcade, from CELS; Eduardo Tavani, Guillermo Torremare and Soledad Astudillo, from the APDH; Beatriz Capdevilla and Leonor Núñez, from the APDH La Matanza, and Gabriela Alegre and Ana Barrio, from the Good Memory Association.
They also met with Vice President Graciela Villalba and María Gastón, from the North Zone Memory, Truth and Justice Commission; Mabel Careaga, Cecilia De Vincenti, Norma Doino, Adolfo Mango and Héctor Francisetti, from Relatives and Companions of the 12 from Santa Cruz; Iris Avellaneda and Pedro Dinani, from the Argentine League for Human Rights; and Natalia Rus from the Argentine Historical and Social Memory Foundation.
During the meeting, it was explained, the leaders of the organizations expressed their repudiation for the attack suffered last Thursday in the office of the Presidency of the Senate when the Chamber of Deputies was discussing the bill that authorizes the national government to close an agreement with the International Monetary Fund to refinance the debt with that organization.
