Cristina Fernández returns to lead an act in Avellaneda

The last time that Cristina Fernández gave a public message was on December 6, after learning of the ruling against her in the case known as “Vialidad”, a sentence handed down by “a judicial mafia”, according to what she said. (Photo Cris Sille).

Vice President Cristina Fernández heads an act this Tuesday in the Buenos Aires Avellaneda party, in what will be the last public message from the former president before the end of the year.

Sources close to Fernández de Kirchner and from that municipality confirmed to Télam that the former president was invited by the mayor Jorge Ferraresi (Front of All) to participate around 7:00 p.m. the inauguration ceremony of a Municipal Sports Center in the Villa Corina neighborhood of Villa Dominico.

As usually happens every time the former president is about to appear in public, nobody or almost nobody knows the content of her speech, but those around her discount that, as usual, she provides a message of strong political content and projection towards the electoral process. of 2023.

“Cristina (Fernández de Kirchner) always has a high level of political discourseconceptually, and it is logical, because it puts white on black in terms of the present, and also generates a discourse towards the future”, Ferraresi said in this regard, in an interview with this agency.

The last time that Cristina Fernández de Kirchner had given a public message was on December 6after the ruling against her to six years in prison and perpetual disqualification from holding public office in the case known as “Vialidad” was known, a sentence that for the vice president was dictated by a “parallel state, a judicial mafia” .

At that time, on their social networks, The former president also announced that she will not be a candidate for any elective position in 2023, because he does not want to subject Peronism to being “mistreated” during the electoral period as a result of this ruling.

Fernández de Kirchner was going to give a speech on Monday, December 12, at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK), in the framework of an activity called by the Puebla Group to express support for the sentence against him, but The call should have been postponed until Monday the 19th due to the Covid-19 contracted by the former president.

In the interview with Télam, Ferraresi -a leader very close to Cristina Fernández, who served until last November as Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat of the national Government- He referred to the resignation of the two-time president from a possible candidacy in 2023.

On this subject, he maintained that the former president asked the Frente de Todos (FdT) to “build from the political point of view” for which – he indicated – in the official coalition “there will be an internal debate in the coming months.”

However, he clarified that “If Cristina has to be a candidate, she will have to be, because the important thing is that in 2023 the FdT continues to be the government.”

The vice president’s speech is awaited on this occasion with special attention, especially by the followers of the Frente de Todos, due to the context created by the ruling of the Court that ordered the national government to restore funds to the Buenos Aires government, through a measure injunction issued last week. The Court’s measure came after more than two years of analysis of the case and frustrated negotiations between the parties.

The administration of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta filed the lawsuit after the government of Alberto Fernández ordered a redistribution of funds that the administration of Mauricio Macri had granted to the capital’s government to supposedly pay for the transfer of the police.

Regarding the establishment that will be inaugurated tomorrow in Avellaneda, baptized “Diego Armando Maradona”, it has a heated pool, soccer field, gym, multi-sport space and micro-stadium, according to Ferraresi indicated on his social networks.

The sports

The multi-sports stadium will bear the name of “Russian” Miguel Molnar, who played in the first Argentinos Juniors with Maradona between 1979 and 1980.

The Natatorio will be named Osvaldo Portas, a swimmer who disappeared on August 15, 1977; the Contact Sports Center will be named Pascual Pérez, a boxer who was Olympic gold medalist in London in 1948 and world champion between 1954 and 1960, and the futsal micro-stadium will be named after “Negro” Héctor Enrique, world champion in 1986, due to his history football and for his political position with respect to the present and his origin.

A monument to Maradona, made with modern technology, will also be inaugurated.
