Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner shared journalistic statements made by the national deputy of the Frente de Todos (FdT) Leopoldo Moreau, who stated that the Supreme Court “plays tricks with the institutions” by criticizing the handling that the highest court carries out in the Council of the Magistracy.

The text reflects Moreau’s radio statements, in which he considers that currently, the highest court “plays tricks with the institutions.”
“To block the possibility of changes in the Judiciary, in Together for Change (JxC) they have the obligation to make everything possible to shield (former President Mauricio) Macri Y guarantee impunity through the support of judges in the Judiciary”indicated Moreau about the dispute over the Magistrature Council, the body in charge of proposing, controlling and removing federal judges, and which is currently headed by the head of the highest court, Horacio Rosatti.
In this sense, the deputy added that “the squires that Macri has to guarantee impunity are in a precarious situation, because he handed them over” the former president in reference to Rosatti and Carlos Rosenkrantzthe two members of the Court who were appointed in that position by a decree at the beginning of the Cambiemos government.
“As he has countless pending cases (Macri)they want block in the Judicial Council the replacement of these judges. In this they are in complicity with Rosatti,” the legislator stated.
On the other hand, Moreau linked the demonstrations of the deputies of Together for Change (JxC) during yesterday’s frustrated session in the Lower House with the ruling that It will be known next Tuesday for the Roads case, in which the Vice President is charged.
“I think that on Tuesday there will be a sentence for Cristina and maybe what happened yesterday has to do with that. If there is a conviction, there are sectors that are going to try to use it to generate media and institutional conflicts.”he pointed.
In this sense, the deputy estimated that the opposition leaders “perhaps they were thinking of destabilizing the line of succession of the Chamber of Deputies”.
“There are people who do not intend to win an election. He believes that to impose the economic plan that they are announcing, they need a society controlled by authoritarianism,” Moreau stressed in the note that the Vice President posts on her social networks.
