After many rumours, Cristiano Ronaldo made his arrival at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia official.
There were also reports of the player’s presence in Madrid, as well as the president of the Asian club. The officialization was expected between December 31 and January 1, but the same player uploaded a photo on instagram with the club shirt.
The player was left without a club after an unusual interview where he pointed against teammates, DT and owners of Manchester United. The scandal occurred in the middle of the World Cup in Qatar, and that’s when the rumors that linked him to Al-Nassr began to rumble.
It was also reported that the Portuguese’s new home was willing to pay 200 million euros per season, which would make Cristiano the highest-paid footballer in the world. The contract between the Portuguese footballer and the Saudi team will last for two and a half seasons.
The 200 million euros per season will increase when Cristiano becomes a sports ambassador for the club and for the Arab country, which wants to host the 2030 World Cup. With no offers in elite football, the historic striker will change airs and objectives.
Where would Cristiano go?
Al-Nassr is a Saudi football club whose headquarters in question are located in the city of Riyadh. It was founded in 1955 and plays in the First Division of Saudi Arabia. Al-Nassr gained a continental and global reputation after participating in the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup in 2000.
