Cristiano Ronaldo confirmed when his wedding with Georgina will be and revealed how he prepared the romantic proposal that sealed more than eight years.

One of them is, without a doubt, the one that makes up Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez. The Portuguese soccer player and the Argentine businesswoman have built a solid family, with two daughters who reflect the affection and complicity that unites them.
This year, the news of the engagement between ‘El Bicho’ and Georgina went around the world. It all started when the model shared on her social networks an image with an impressive ring that unleashed thousands of reactions, congratulations and speculation.
However, little was known about the details of the romantic moment… until now. In an exclusive interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo broke the silence and revealed what the marriage proposal really was like.

True to his relaxed style, dressed in a sweater and tennis shoes, the Al Nassr forward spoke naturally about his life, from his finances to his experience as one of the few billionaire footballers in the world. But the issue that really caught everyone’s attention was its love story with Georgina.
“I’m going to ask her to marry me because I think it’s the right time. Not only because she’s the mother of my children, but because she’s the person I love the most. She’s the love of my life. So I think it’s the right time. Nothing is going to change just because we get married“, confessed the winner of five Ballon d’Ors.
How did you plan to propose to Georgina Rodríguez?
Cristiano also said that he planned every detail of the request with one of his closest friends. I wanted it to be special, worthy of the love he feels for Georgina.
“She had told me that one of her dreams was to have a beautiful stone. I worked hard to find the perfect ringthe one she really wanted. I talked to my friend and said, ‘We’ll do it tonight over dinner.’ And that’s how it was,” said the Portuguese star.

The moment was as intimate as it was unexpected. “It was around one in the morning. My daughters Alana and Eva were already asleep. When my friend gave me the ring, the girls just came into the room and said: ‘Dad, Are you going to give the ring to mom so she can marry you?’ It was magical. That’s when I knew it was time,” he said excitedly.
Although the couple has not yet set a wedding date, Cristiano announced that he hopes everything will happen after the sporting commitments. “We still don’t have a wedding date, but I hope it will be after the World Cup, with the cup,” he concluded with laughter.
