The Governor of the state TáchiraFreddy Bernal, reported that a “criminal would be usurping his identity” through the use of telephone numbers.
In his account on the social network Twitter, he indicated that the offender under the identity fraud proposes illegal business to extort.
“I inform the people of Venezuela that a criminal who pretends to be me through some numbers that start with 0426 and 0412, proposing illegal businesses to extort. He has already reported himself and will soon be captured!” Bernal pointed out.
Likewise, he asked his contacts to block those numbers to avoid the extortions that are tried to be applied under the modality of computer crime.
Finally, he pointed out that the pertinent complaints have already been made “and he has no doubt that soon (the person responsible) will be behind bars.”
