The third room of the Criminal Chamber of the National District Court ordered to keep the brothers Antonio and Maribel Espaillat released in the case of the tragedy of the tragedy of the Jet Setin which 236 people died and more than 180 were injured.
The Court rejected 26 appeal resources presented by appellants, including the Public Ministry and on the contrary expressed that the decision of the Judge of Instruction that knew the coercion measure is adjusted to the legal framework.
The decision was pronounced by resolution number 502-01-2025-SRES-00246, the third Chamber of the Criminal Chamber of the National District Court, composed of magistrates Nancy María Joaquín Guzmán, July Elizabeth Tamaríz Núñez and Mariana Daneira García Castillo.
The Court confirmed the measure of coercion of an economic guarantee of 50 million pesos, periodic presentation and impediment of departure from the country to the Spanish brothers.
