In the event that the fetus is affected by an abortion, the State undertakes, in this law, to assume the absolute guardianship of the child. However, if the abortion does not occur, but the fetus suffers an injury or illness that seriously impairs its normal development or causes a severe physical or mental handicap, the perpetrator of the interruption of the pregnancy will be punished by one or more two years in prison.
