Santiago – The murder of the lawyer Freddy Zarzuela confirmed last weekend, but perpetrated last Tuesday, worries the legal community, who have reacted with shock to the fourth crime against a legal professional and whose cases remain unpunished.
Freddy Zarzuela, had been reported missing since last Tuesday and his family found out he was dead, after being found with signs of violence and in a state of decomposition in a garbage dump in the La Delgada community, Villa González municipality, Santiago province.

The lawyer’s family said they feared that the death of their relative was a case of assassination who, due to the evidence, was kidnapped while he was out for a walk because he was wearing sweatshirt-type pants, which he used only to go out and exercise.
The former president of the Santiago Bar Association José Dolores Jiménez called the Attorney General of the Republic to adopt measures that guarantee the exercise of legal professionals in the country and particularly in Santiago where there are already murders.
He said that apparently, there are groups of criminals in Santiago who believe that they can resolve their differences with lawyers through crime, so he urged those who have differences with any legal professional to go to the unions to resolve it in a civilized manner. .

Jiménez announced that the institutions that make up the Santiago legal community are preparing a march to demand that the authorities expedite the investigative processes into the death of the four lawyers and whose cases remain unpunished.
In the same vein, the president of the Santiago Bar Association, Miledy López, expressed herself, who said that the murder of this legal professional occurs at a time when the legal community is unable to recover from previous cases.
Preliminary information establishes that Zarzuela, at the time his body was raised, had a bullet wound, as well as partial burns on parts of his body.
He was wrapped in a white sheet, which is evidence that he was killed in one place and then dumped there.
