Federal and state authorities detected that criminal groups, such as the Jalisco cartel New Generation and The Michoacan Family, They transferred theft of cargo transportation from federal highways to state roads and industrial zones in at least the state of Mexico, San Luis Potosí and Puebla, where the highest incidence of assaults on cargo transportation is concentrated.
