MIAMI, United States. — A woman was murdered this week in the Havana neighborhood of Mulgoba, Boyeros municipality, by a criminal who tried to steal her bag, according to reports in social media.
The event would have occurred at night in the area known as La gossip. The victim, identified as Ana Rosa, was on her way to Villanueva.
“Today, arriving at work, I found the sad news that a female family member of a co-worker had been stabbed last night on her way home to take her bag,” Maritza Céspedes, a local resident, wrote on Facebook.
The user’s information was confirmed by other residents of Mulgoba.
“At eight o’clock at night I was coming home when I heard the news from a friend who lives near what happened. And so is the world. So many tragedies happen every day. It’s sad,” said Carmen Lauren Martínez Rodríguez.
Netizens themselves lamented the increase in the crime rate in the capital.
“Unfortunate news. How sad to know that before one walked through Mulgoba without fear! There was no crime. Where are we going to get with so many crimes?” Amanda De Leandro Lorenzo Torres questioned.
The tragic event shocked the town of Mulgoba, which has previously been the scene of similar tragedies.
In the early morning of February 23, 2022, Daile Lopez Masso, a 22-year-old girl, was assaulted and murdered in the vicinity of El Laguito, another area of the mentioned area. The crime was perpetrated by a man who wanted to steal the young woman’s phone. This she reacted by breaking a bottle on the head of the assailant, who responded by stabbing her in the chest.
A friend of the victim was able to flee with two wounds on her arm. The perpetrator, for his part, escaped from the crime scene.
