The most recent victim was identified as Leonardo Reyes Fernández, 45 years old and father of three children, who was robbed of his vehicle.
The death of the PGR employee occurred while he was receiving medical attention at the Presidente Estrella Ureña Hospital in Santiago. Testimonies from relatives show that he was mortally wounded when he was returning to his house, in the Cienfuegos sector, after leaving a pregnant woman in the emergency room of a health center. The Public Ministry and the National Police reported that they are pursuing the assailants.
