Ruralist Youth of Cerro Largo
The Magnet’s session hall was the place chosen to launch the 8th edition of the Creole Festival that will take place from February 14 to 16 in the ring of A Poncho and Espuela in Rivera Park.
The organization of activities will be in charge of the ruralist youth of Cerro Largo.
During the 3 days there will be a larger scenario, artisanal exhibition, food squares, stands exhibition, field tests, gaucho parade, apart from Campero, Rued in Basto and Hair, demonstrations of work dogs, loop shot and the choice of flower of the ring.
The ruralist youth reported that more than $ 250,000 will be delivered in prizes.
In the artistic shows the actions of bubbles of José Pedro Varela, Dame 5, Alejandro Lemos, Copla Alta and Catherine Vergnes stand out.
“It begins on Friday 14 with activities for children and the opening of the party that will be done with a folk dance. Then we will have the stage with local artists. That day the entrance to the ring will be free ” advancement Samuel Faliú.
“We will continue on Saturday 15 in the morning with the parade that is the second time we organize. Last year more than 200 riders accompanied us. The concentration will be done immediately from Hour 8 in front of the Virgin to start at 9. The parade is going to do a Creole Mass in Rivera Park in front of the monument to the horse. Then we are going to move to the ring to begin all the activity of the afternoon with different field proposals ” highlighted.
At night the biggest stage returns that will end with a great dance.
“On Sunday 16 in the morning we would start with field activities and mountains in hair and the ribs in the rod” announced the vice president of the Ruralist Youth of Cerro Largo.
At night the awards will be delivered to the most prominent in each of the categories.
On Saturday the entrance to the ring will cost $ 200 and Sunday $ 300. “There is a cuponera value $ 400 for two days” Samuel Faliú held.
