According to the BCR, credit to individuals registered an interannual increase rate of 6.7% in the penultimate month of the year. Within this segment, vehicle loans increased 3.8%, while mortgage loans increased 6.9%.
Regarding loans to companies, the monetary entity reported that it increased by 5%. However, if the balance of the Reactiva Perú Program placements is excluded, the increase would be 6.2% in the analysis period.
“The credit balance of the corporate and large company segment increased 6.5% year-on-year, which corresponds to a monthly increase of 1.3%. This category represents 56.2% of the credit balance of the Deposit Creation Companies granted to companies,” he stated.
For its part, loans to small and microenterprises registered an increase of 3.8%. In this case, placements in dollars registered a drop of 5.4% in November of this year.
