The Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) opened popular voting to choose the Galera Athlete category for the 14th edition of the Brasil Paralímpico Award. The winner will be announced next Tuesday (9), in a ceremony that will be held from 8pm (Brasília time) at the Tokio Marine Hall, in the capital of São Paulo.
This year’s competitors are: Alessandra Oliveira (swimming), Ana Paula Marques (weightlifting), Edwarda Dias (badminton), Verônica Hipólito (athletics), Sabrina Custódia (cycling) and Wanna Brito (athletics).

Voting for Atleta da Galera is carried out online, through this LINK made available by the Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB).
Just like last year, the Brazil Paralympic Awards will be held in a single night. In addition to Atleta da Galera, the winners of each of the 25 sports that make up the Paralympic schedule will be announced. In addition, the winners of the special categories will be revealed: best collective coach, best individual coach, new athlete, Aldo Miccolis, Paralympic memory, Loterias Caixa award, Braskem award, best female athlete and best male athlete.
