The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and Bolivia Verifica have denied the claims of a Catholic who, dressed as a priest, said that COVID-19 vaccines “distort” people’s blood and cause children to be born “with a tail” , “With a single eye”, “a single arm” or “a single leg.” In addition, he affirmed that the immunized people “belong to the pharmaceutical companies”.
The claims made by the alleged priest are false, says the article published on the official website of Bolivia Verifica.
The man dressed as a priest is called Guillermo León Morales, according to his YouTube channel, he is of Colombian nationality and broadcasts virtual masses frequently.
In 2020 he wanted to hold an event called “Healing and Exorcism Congress in Panama”, but the Archdiocese of that country indicated that the priest could not practice as such because he was suspended in his diocese of origin and the event was not endorsed.
León Morales appears in a video that lasts 01:26 minutes and that circulates in different WhatsApp groups in the city of La Paz.
“They are not vaccines, they are experiments; The monsters that are being born from the women who were vaccinated last year, children with one eye, children with tails, children with three arms, children with only one leg, have already begun to be demonstrated. And most seriously, a person who has received the vaccine two or three months ago undergoes a laboratory blood test, the blood comes out totally distorted. They are no longer human beings, they belong to the manufacturers of the vaccine, ”said the priest.
These are viral statements, but they are not part of an official position of the Catholic Church, nor do they have scientific support.
VACCINES DO NOT ALTER THE BLOOD
The religious assures in the video that by means of a laboratory test it can be seen that after two or three months the blood of those vaccinated against the coronavirus is “distorted.”
In this regard, the head of the Department of Promotion and Social Extension of the Blood Bank of Santa Cruz, Claudia Salas, explains to Bolivia Verifies that “various tests are carried out on donors” without any irregularity being found in those vaccinated against COVID -19.
“Nothing unusual has been found in the blood of people vaccinated against the coronavirus. Nothing new, nothing bad. We have the Quality Control Department here where all samples are analyzed and serological tests are carried out and nothing harmful has been found in the blood ”.
The head of the Blood Bank of Santa Cruz indicates that those vaccinated can donate blood normally after 14 days after receiving their dose.
The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the Ministry of Health and Sports, and other organizations such as the United States Red Cross indicate that those vaccinated against the coronavirus can donate blood after “a few days” after being immunized.
These health institutions explain that donating blood is important to help save lives and that this action does not reduce the immunity provided by vaccines.
None of these health organisms report that the blood of vaccinated people is altered or damaged by immunizers against COVID-19.
