Covid in Santa Cruz: 41 cases in four municipalities this Tuesday

The Departmental Health Service (Headquarters) of Santa Cruz reported that this department closed this Tuesday with only four municipalities with new cases of covid.

According to the data, the municipality of Santa Cruz de la Sierra had 37 new positive cases, Mineros, 2; while La Guardia and Puerto Quijarro, one case each, making a total of 41 new infections, maintaining a positivity rate below 2%.

On the day, 22 people managed to overcome the virus. However, after several days, the death of a person due to complications of the disease is mourned.

30 people are in the rooms of the Intensive Care Units (ICU) fighting for their lives, 15 of them are attached to a respirator.

At the end of this Tuesday, only 3,333 people came to receive their dose against the virus.
