Covid in Colombia: fewer than 45 deaths and 1,700 new infections

Colombia reported 1,627 new infections due to covid this Thursday, after analyzing 27,748 tests (17,387 for PCR and 10,361 for antigens).

The country already accumulates, in the last year and 9 months, 5’088.008 infections and 28,506,132 samples processed.

Currently, 4,928,885 people have recovered from the virus and 12,226 are still active.

Bogotá (1,465,730), Antioquia (774,423), Valle del Cauca (418,516), Atlántico (340,516) and Cundinamarca (266,545), lThe areas of the country that concentrate the majority of historical infections.

In the world, for its part, a history of 268’393.653 infections of covid has been reported.

In terms of deaths, the most recent record is 40 new, of which 36 occurred on different days.

Total, the country already has 128,969 deaths due to the pandemic, while in the world the figure is 5,285,485.

As of December 7, 65,714,650 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 59’615,178 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 25,649,090.
