Covid in Colombia: deaths increased but infections decreased

As happened throughout the week, deaths from covid-19 in Colombia continue to exceed 200. For this Saturday, January 29, deaths increased but infections decreased.

272 deaths were reported and the total of these reached to 133,832 in the country.

What’s more, 77,096 cases are still active and 5,625,108 patients, to date, have overcome the virus.

As for infections, according to the report of the Ministry of Health, this Saturday there were 18,450 new positive caseswhich resulted after processing 38,358 tests (21,921 for PCR and 16,437 for antigens).

The country accumulates a historical total of 5,855,858 infections by covid-19 and 32,051,292 samples analyzed.
