Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Public Health reported this Tuesday 79 new new cases of Covid-19 and zero deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to bulletin number 782, issued by the National Directorate of Epidemiology, the total number of deaths to date remains at 4,376 while the accumulated cases amount to 580,099.
According to the aforementioned report, 492 cases remain active, while 575,231 have recovered from the virus and 2,718,292 have been ruled out by laboratory tests.

In the last 24 hours, 3,493 tests have been carried out, of which 212 are PCR and 3,281 are antigenic for a total of 3,298,391 samples processed.
Daily positivity stands at 3.47%, and in the last four weeks at 1.23%.
The fatality rate is 0.75% and mortality per million inhabitants is 418.82.
The Hospital Network has 2,373 beds covid of which four are occupied, for 0.2 percent, while the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds of 585, only one is occupied for 0.2 percent.
While, of a total of 469 fans, all remain available, which represents zero percent.
