Covid: 830 new infections and 2,359 recovered in Bolivia

The curve of infections by Covid-19 continues to decline. This day the confirmed cases did not exceed the barrier of a thousand, Well, they were 830, one of the lowest figures in the last two weeks. In addition to the fact that 2,359 patients overcame the disease and received their medical discharge, according to the report from the Ministry of Health and Sports.

Despite the decrease in infected Santa Cruz continues to be the department that concentrates the largest amount of positive cases, since it reports 366. It is followed by Cochabamba with 167, La Paz with 155, Chuquisaca with 33, Pando with 27, Tarija with 24, Oruro with 22, Potosí with 21, and Beni with 15.

With these new records, the accumulated number of infections by Covid, since the pandemic began in March 2020, rose to 889,044, of which 102,117 remain actives in Bolivia. While the total number of recovered reached 765,560, after 2,359 patients defeated the virus today.

According to the National Directorate of Epidemiology this day regrets the death of nine people due to complications of the disease and the number of total deaths rose to 21,367.

Regarding the immunization process, the Ministry of Health reported that to date, 12,412,081 vaccines against Covid in the nine departments. Of these, 5,877,819 correspond to the first dose, 4,531,467 to the second, and 1,007,834 to the booster dose.
