According to the calendar released by the SMS, from the 14th, workers aged 30 years or older can return to the posts and from the 21st, all people in the health area from 18 years old will be able to receive the second booster of the vaccine. The interval between the first booster dose and the second is at least 4 months.

In the calendar for the general population, the application of the fourth dose began on Friday (3) in people aged 50 and over. Last week, the third dose was also started in adolescents aged 12 to 17 years.

SMS panels show that 99.8% of the municipality’s adult population took the two doses of the basic vaccination schedule against covid-19. But the booster was only given to 67% of people aged 18 and over.

So far, the second booster dose has been given to 54.3% of the population aged 60 and over. The range of children from 5 to 11 years old has not even completed the first dose. By the municipality’s estimate, there are 119,800 children in this age group missing to be taken to the posts to start immunization against covid-19, which is equivalent to 21% of the target audience.
